Streetlights & Traffic Signals

Streetlights
Lower Moreland maintains and is responsible for over six hundredimage of streetlight streetlights, and when warranted, PECO makes some of these repairs. Repairs are addressed in a timely manner, but some may take several working days. If you need to report a streetlight issue, please be prepared to supply the following information:
- Pole number, if available
- The location of the streetlight
- The exact nature of the problem, i.e. light flickering or obvious visual damage.

Traffic Signals
The Public Works Department provides for operation, maintenance and repair of existing traffic signals. The department is responsible for 21 signalized intersections in addition to several school zones.

Signs
Public Works installs, maintains, repairs and removes street signs, traffic control signs, crosswalk markings and lane line markings within the township.To report a sign in need of repair, please email or call Kelly at kjones@lowermoreland.org or 215-947-3100 ext.256.
