The Board of Commissioners of Lower Moreland Township will hold special meetings on Monday, September 30, 2024 beginning at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2024 beginning at 5:00 pm, and Wednesday, November 6, 2024 beginning at 12:00 p.m. for the purpose of reviewing the proposed 2024 Budget and any other business that may come before the Board. These public meetings will be conducted via the teleconference platform ZOOM. Instructions for joining the meetings will be posted on the Township’s website at www.lowermoreland.org.
Public Hearing Regarding Cable Franchise Renewal for the Township of Lower Moreland
Notice is hereby given that the Township of Lower Moreland will hold a public hearing regarding cable franchise renewal. The public hearing will take place on July 9, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the High School Auditorium located at 555 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Citizens are invited to testify. The purpose of the public hearing is to review the past performance of the cable operator, Verizon, and to identify the future cable-related community needs of the Township. Sealed bids will be received by the Lower Moreland Township Authority, hereinafter generally referred to as the Authority or Owner, on August 21, 2024 until 10:00 A.M. FOREST HILLS CEMETERY
SANITARY SEWER REPAIR PROJECT
CONTRACT NO. 3215

LOWER MORELAND TOWNSHIP, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
The project includes excavation and installation of 200 linear feet of 10” ductile iron sanitary sewage main including a stream crossing, 50 linear feet of concrete encasement of the main, installation of two precast concrete manholes including castings, and installation of additional precast concrete manhole sections to raise the existing manhole above grade. The project also includes removal of an existing manhole and sewer main within the streambed. Also included are bypass pumping of the sewer, stream diversion and related erosion and sedimentation controls. An existing stone wall is to be partially removed and restored with gabion baskets.
Bids must be made on the forms furnished with the Contract Documents and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Authority.
