The Lower Moreland Township Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL)/Pollutant Reduction Plan for Southampton Creek, Huntingdon Valley Creek, Pennypack Creek, Poquessing Creek, and Terwood Run has been completed and is available for public review HERE and by request at the Township Building.
The Pollutant Reduction Plan describes proposed projects to be taken to reduce sediment and nutrient pollution to Southampton Creek, Huntingdon Valley Creek, Pennypack Creek, Poquessing Creek, and Terwood Run within Lower Moreland Township, which is a requirement of the Township’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit.
Written comments from the public are being accepted for a period of 30 days from the public notice which was published January 12, 2026. Verbal and written comments will also be accepted during this meeting.
